I have worked as the Peak Performance Coach and in-house club Psychologist for the Sydney Swans and select members of the Australian Women's Cricket Team for a number of years.

I have also worked with select members of the Irish Rugby Teams.

PEAK PERFORMANCE COACHING

The aim of any sports team and or its individuals is to win. Any learning intervention undertaken at a team or individual level will be to support this goal, not detract from it.

I offer development plans specifically designed to create a holistic program of interventions, interactions and exercises to bolster and maximise the likelihood of winning.

In sport, the 'mental game' is proven to be more than 50% of the athletes ability.  The mental game elements can consistent of:

1) My purpose, my passion, my goal

2) Visualisations

3) Self-talk interventions

4) Stress indicators and behaviours

5) Injury recovery

6) Anxiety interventions (including but not limited to hypnotherapy)

7) Brain 101

8) Optimism and resilience

9) Cognitive bias and its impact on performance

10) Mental agility

11) Team dynamics

12) Career transitions and player lifecycle

The interventions can offer a 4 pronged approach as we sometimes need to look within (first) in order to outperform:

1) My SELF -  Includes: The Public SELF, The Private (or hidden) SELF, The Blind SELF, The Undiscovered SELF = the BEST SELF.

2) My TEAM - The social animal, team studies, team talk and team confidence.

3) My CLUB - The business of running the club, the team, the sponsors, the members, the marketing, the brand and everything in between.

4) My CAREER - Goal setting, diversifying, personal rhythms, the psychology of self management, health, managing disappointment, injury mindset, selection & caring for the body.
